Developed over ten years from the perspective that knowledge is power, these classes focus on cultural competency, personal sovereignty and supporting your unique goals and sense of safety. This class empowers birthing people.

This class is for:

• Expectant parents.

• Doulas.

• Advocates.

• People considering having children.

• Anyone seeking more knowledge about childbirth.

This course offers you:

• A deep dive into the normal physiology of birth.

• Embodied practices honoring the fact that birth is a spiritual, emotional and physical transformational journey.

• Clear descriptions all of the procedures you can choose from.

• Supporting each individual family’s decision making process.

• Nurturing & Nourishment

• Holistic Stages of Labor

• Fear-Pain-Tension Tools

• Movement & Upright Birth

• Bonding & Birth Plan

What’s included with the class:

• Ten hours of in person class time with instructor and small group.

• Zoom access available if you can’t make it.

• Opportunities to have your questions answered by instructor during class time.

• Classes take place on Monday evenings 6-8pm at Midwives Bay Area Berkeley Clinic. Address provided upon registration.

• Partners/Companions welcome.
